Le Mouv’

July 18th, 2011

Le Mouv’ is a French Radio Station which hosts a whole array of nice shows; one of them is a 2-hour program called ‘Le Forum’ which is animated by the Radio Maestro: Eric Lange. The concept of the show is to create a network of people around the world, preferably French speaking and talk about their lives, projects, travels and experiences . I have been following this show previously known as ‘ Allo la Planete’ for years now and talked to Eric a few times.

Listening to the show both gets me into the working/productive ‘vibe’  (that we all have a few hours of, during a typical day) and allows me to travel and learn things at the same time. There’s something very special about the radio format, that allows you to use your imagination alot more than TV for example, where you are passively absorbing information. It’s like reading a book in a way, you have to fill the gaps. After listening for so long I have made a picture in my head of what happens behind the scenes, after a while this picture had to be put on paper, here is the result from rough to complete picture, a small token of appreciation for the ‘Le forum’ team.

Heya Blog,
After 2 months of travelling, working and visiting in Europe I am now back in Brisbane who has been through quite an ordeal with the floods and now with cyclone Yasi hitting the north of the state. I hope you are all well despite all of that and I wish you all the best for this New Year.

Bonne Année!!

January 9th, 2011

Wow! 2011 already!!

New year resolution #1:
-UPDATE YOUR BLOG!!!!!
Yep it’s been a while I know… Alot has happened since my last entry (Singapore, Finland, Paris, Oslo, Stockholm…). Alot of travelling which is essential I think to satisfy one’s curiosity and sketchbook!
I had to take work with me so I’ve been travelling with my laptop in one hand and Wacom in the other but working on the road is grand (except when you are in a Macdonald Restaurant desperately trying to find an internet connection…) :)
Hope you are all well and let those good resolutions come out!
