Powderfinger Music Video

Synopsis :
It is the migration period. Two species of birds are gradually making their way to a far away promised land. An heron and a flamingo, torn by their recent separation, end up by coincidence in opposite waiting lines of the “migration center’s” departure hall. After an agitated chase amongst the crowded queue the two faded lovers finally manage to make eye contact on the takeoff runway. A last minute exchange of glances for a new start to life.

Technique :
Animated using a combination of cut-out papers traditional animation and digital tools we aimed at creating an interesting look that accompanies the narrative throughout the emotional arc of the song.
